Bombardier, Lishon crew. 381st BG, 534th BS. Shot down 8 October 1943 in B-17 #42-30772 'Bobby T'. Mission #36 to the shipyards at Bremen, Germany. MACR 1398. Prisoner of War at Stalag Luft I. All the crew were together in captivity on a train to Frankfurt then they were separated. Earlier shot down 17 August 1943 in B-17 #42-29735 'Our Mom'. Plane ditched in North Sea. Returned to base.
