Arnold E Heikkila
Military ROLL OF HONOUREnlisted in 1942 at Ft. Lewis, Washington State, trained in US at Amarillo, Texas A&M and gunnery school. Arrived at Deopham Green 31 July 1944. Flew with a different crew on 24 Dec 1944 in plane 44-8201 on mission #178 for 452nd BG over Darmstadt, Germany. Killed by flak, it went right between the eyes, death was instantaneous and returned to England for burial.
