UPL 23906
IMAGEIdentified on the reverse in Harold Motz's handwriting as his "escape picture". This small photo (roughly 2 x 2.5 inches) of an airman in civilian clothing was given to aircrew members in the event they were shot down but managed to evade capture. It could be used to help create a false identification card to aid them in their escape from German-controlled territory.
