Then 1LT William F. Nee back row, far left. This photo had to be taken on 11 Dec 1943 at Rapid City, South Dakota, after completing flight training and on the way to England. Bill Nee entered service 10 Sept 42 and was shot down on 24 May 1944.
Removed associations not in image.
Shot down 24 May 1944 in B-17 #42-107178 that crashed in Sweden. Nee parachuted over Germany and was captured by German forces
