Lt. Colonel Parnell and Crew's service was 1943-45. First missions were from 10/15/44 to 01/10/45. In addition to 'Happy Warrior', they loved flying Q 'Queenie' 43-38799. Motto: "Heaven Can Wait". The last 'Queenie' flight was on 1/07/45 (Bitburg).
Parnell flew over 46 missions, was shot down twice, once lost all engines and gas, Parnell also flew as Wing Deputy Lead Aircraft, low and high squadron and group lead, Deputy Group Lead Aircraft and was awarded many distinguished medals.

From Pilot to Captain to Lt. Colonel and Team Leader, Parnell flew about 15 additional missions from 01/17/45 to 03/21/45 (see operational missions above in photographs).
