Killed in Action (KIA). 36th BS was Radio Counter Measures Sqdrn attached to 482nd BG when moved to Alconbury. Jammed radio transmissiions. B-24 AC 42-50385 R4 'Beast of Bourbon' crashed on takeoff 19 February 1945. Bad weather and instrument failure caused the crash. Other crew members killed were Lindquist and Haley. 7 survived.
