B-24 AC#42-50385 R4 'Beast of Bourbon' crashed on takeoff 19 February 1945. Bad weather and instrument failure caused the crash. 3 crew members were killed: Carl Lindquist, Fred Becker and Howard Haley. 7 crew survived.
