Edward Corrigan

Military ROLL OF HONOUR

Killed in Action (KIA) on 4-Mar-43 in B-17F 42-5370, 91BG/324BS while serving as Radio Operator. The aircraft was shot down by fighters and crasheds into the North Sea near Texel Island, Holland. His remains were washed ashore on 29-Apr-43 and he was initially buried in the Church Cemetery at List on Sylt Island. After the war his remains were re-interred in the Ardennes American Cemetery.
