Assigned to 487FS, 352FG, 8AF USAAF. Transferred to 84FS, 78FG, 8AF USAAF as war/weary trainer for transition from P-47's. Ended up on its nose in a landing accident 10-Apr-44 at Duxford bending both the starboard U/C and the outer wing panel. Stripped of spares and scrapped.
