Transferred to 467th BG, 788th BS Lost at sea: 16 Aug 44 w/Prewitte, shot down by friendly fire during a training mission. Shot down over North Sea by a malfunctioning top turret gun on another B-24 while on a practice mission. 6 killed in the line of duty, 4 rescued.
