Grandson of Edgar Harrell, ball turret gunner, 91st Bomb Group / 401st Bomb Squadron. Edgar was killed in action on 8 Apr 1945 on B-17 42-102504 over Stendal, Germany. I've been to Stendal and talked to locals regarding 42-102504 Times A-Wastin' and 42-31333 Wee Willie and have visited both crash sites. Active with the 91st Bomb Group Memorial Association producing their newsletter and assisting other 91st relatives with research.
