Daughter of Sargent Willard J Meier (a.k.a. Buddy, Joe or Dark, 446 Bombardment Group).  Dad was Sargent/engineer/mechanic, who worked on B-24 Liberators.  He worked on several, but his heart was always with Henry's Pride, which crashed on 24 Feb 1944, one of two planes to go down following a successful attack on Gotha.
