Command
ADSEC was the US Army's logistical agency.
Activated in Bristol in February 1944, ADSEC provided detail planning for the Normandy invasion, and was initially attached to the US First Army.
While ADSEC did not have a formal base of operations, moving continuously with the forces, after 6 June 1944, the organization oversaw activities at Cherbourg pot, and engineering, supple and field hospital activities in the landing zones.
