Became Deputy Assistant for Operations, 10th AF, Commander 178th / 192nd Reserve Unit Training Detachments and Chief of Target Analysis Division, office of the Director of Intelligence, Headquarters USAF. He became deputy commander of the 31st Strategic Fighter Wing and assumed command on 15 July 55.
Silver Star, DFC w 1/Oak Leaf Cluster and Air medal with 21/Oak Leaf Cluster.
Author of the book "Down for Double".
