Assigned to 368FS, 359FG, 8AF USAAF. Failed to Return (FTR) escort mission to Dortmund. On return leg, vectored to intercept E/A attacking Remagen bridge, broke through overcast over bridge and immediately engaged heavily by friendly fire, hit by 50 cal fire and crashed near Remagen on 10-Mar-45 in P-51 'Little Ann' 44-15067 Killed in Action (KIA). MACR 13404.
