This crew was shot down on their first mission with Caverne acting as first pilot. Mason flew the mission with the Skaggs Crew. All the crew were KIA including Gordon Sinclair (CP) replacing Mason and James L. Davis (TG) replacing Eaton. The Skaggs crew was shot down within days and Mason was KIA. Eaton had been KIA earlier while flying with the Garrett Crew.
