710 Bomb Squadron Line Chief. He led the squadron to the top in maintenance and placing men in crews. Line Chief's manage the team, and check each returning aircraft from a combat mission to see if they will be in good condition to go back out the next day.
Master Sgt Taylor was from Clearwater, Florida, and entered the service in February of 1941 before becoming a line chief. He was previously in charge of the electrical department at Luke Field, Arizona.
