Clarence Daw was one of five Daw brothers from Pensacola, Florida to enlist during WWII. He flew with Jesse L. McMains' crew on missions from England. Hit by flak and later by fighters after falling out of formation on a mission to Genshagen near Berlin on 6 March 1944, B-24H #42-52306 crashed near Uelzen, East of Münster, Germany. Killed in Action (KIA).
