Germany 12 May 1944 MACR 4819 mentions that, together with fellow crew members Leon Davies and George Brush, he was captured by the Gestapo in Sprimont, Belgium, in civilian clothes on 12 May 1944. There is no confirmation of this and either they were not in civilian clothes or they were arrested on a later date. NARA WWII POW records : “Returned to Military Control 30/07/1945“
