Robert William Seelos
MilitaryPilot of B-17 #41-24465 'Montana Power'. Hit by flak and shot down by fighters on his 19th mission, the 5 April 1943 one to the ERLA works in Antwerp, Belgium. MACR 15534. Parachuted into Wuustwezel, North of Antwerp and was immediately made prisoner. Prisoner of War (POW). He was interned at Stalag Luft 1 and was liberated at Stalag Luft VIIA (7A) in Moosburg, Germany, by Patton's 3rd Army.
Bob Seelos was Vice President of the 306th Bombardment Group Association ( http://www.306bg.us ) and was also President (1986-1989 and 1998-2001) of the Brand Library and Art Center of Glendale, California.
