Ralph Wendell Wright
Military ROLL OF HONOURKilled in B-17 42-38053 'Cap'n Crow' in a form up accident over the base. on 7-May-44. Target was Berlin. The plane had flares stored in the top turret and for some reason they exploded and the pilot ordered the crew to bail out The pilot Wright and Raper were possibly overcome by fumes and passed out. The rest of the crew bailed out, in all 5 of the crew were killed. Killed in Action (KIA)
