IMAGE(at the time) 1st Lt Louis 'Red Dog' Norley's P-47C Thunderbolt, 41-6183, was the first of his fighters to be adorned with his nickname. It was also the only one of his machines to feature Walt Disney's 'Pluto' (who was tinged scarlet to match the name) on its engine cowling.
