Hughes, Carroll S. Bogard, Leroy Guidroz and Howard R. Hershey all gunners) after they bailed out on the 8 August 1944 mission. Kinsey had put the aircraft through some violent evasive maneuvers and the four thought the plane was going down and jumped.
