The monument put up in 1994 on the Rue de Mehaignoul, La Bruyere, Belgium, to Don Handley's crew. It stands near the site where their B-17 Flying Fortress (serial number 44-6139) landed in September 1944. Taken by Henry-Luc Hody on 17 November 2014.

Detailed History
B-17 44-6139 was battle damaged on mission to Brux on 12 September 1944, and made a precautionary landing at La Bruyère, Belgium.
A monument to the crew was put up near the site that the aircraft landed in 1994.
