William Thomas O'Connor II

Military ROLL OF HONOUR

Killed in Action on 24 March 1945 during a supply drop mission to Wesel. O'Connor's aircraft B-24 Liberator 42-50545 nicknamed 'Barfly' was hit by small arms fire and the crew were ordered to bail out. O'Connor was wearing his parachute under his jacket and it failed to open.
