William E Guildner
MilitaryGuildner was pilot of 'Qualified Quail' with the 401st Squadron 91st Bomber Group at Bassingbourn and with whom he completed 35 missions. On one of them - that of 20th Juy 1944 to Leipzig - his was the only plane of six in the low squadron to survive. In civilian life Guidner was very active in charitable organisations and his local church.
He died 16th December 2002 being survived by his two daughters, his wife having died
in 1944.
