Died

Timberville, PA 23 February 2001 Weldon Theis Martz , 77, Timberville, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg. Mr. Martz was born Sept. 5, 1923, in Timberville, and was the son of the late John and Anna Theis Martz . He was a warehouse clerk for Rockingham Poultry and a refrigeration mechanic for Byrd-Fredrickson. He was a member of the Timberville Church of the Brethren and an Army-Air Force veteran of World War II. On March 2, 1946, he married the former Alma Hupp, who survives. He is also survived by two sisters, Irene Matthews, Harrisonburg, and Dwen Branner, Broadway.
