WIA. 36th BS was Radio Counter Measures Sqdrn attached to 482nd BG when moved to Alconbury. Jammed radio transmissions. B-24 A/C #42-50385 R4 'Beast of Bourbon' crashed on takeoff 19 February 1945. Bad weather and instrument failure caused the crash. 3 crew members were killed Lindquist, Becker and Haley. 7 survived.
