Richard was very bright, funny, witty. A huge sports fan, he loved the Arkansas Razorbacks. He loved to read newspapers and news magazines, for one reason because his family could not afford a newspaper when he was growing up. He was generous with his money. He was a certified public accountant . He retired in 1983 and had 5 very happy years of retirement before he passed away suddenly in 1988.
