Raymond P Pritchard
Military"Iowans of the Mighty Eighth", Chapter 22 "Biographies", by Charles D Taylor.
Raymond was working for Standard Oil when he was drafted in October 1941 and initially performed line maintenance duty for aircrews in training, then volunteered for flight service and trained as a gunner. He was to fly on 9 combat missions with the Group at Grafton Underwood, his last on 25 April 1945. In civilian life he worked for the US Postal Service from which he retired in 1974.
