Military ROLL OF HONOURShot down on 16 February 1943 on in B-17F 42-5058 'Hun Hunter' while serving as Engineer/Top Turret Gunner. Aircraft was shot down by fighters on return from a mission to St. Nazaire and crashed at Morlac, France. It is probable that he baled out of the aircraft over the sea and was lost. Killed in Action (KIA) Finding of death (FOD)recorded by NARA.
