Stories in The History of the 364th Fighter Group which he edited and signed. He had joined the Group February 9 1944 as CNS operator and also directed the base Dance Orchestra 'The Goldbricks'. The estate where the base was located was that of the Duke of Grafton and they were asked to play at the Ball he hosted.
Post war he earned a Masters from Drake University and taught music in high school before becoming Superintendent of Schools for 25 years. He was also active on the 364th FG Association Board, serving as President for a year.
