Shot down 3 January 1943 in B-17F 41-24608 'Yehudi' while serving as Engineer/Top Turret Gunner. Aircraft crashed into the sea off the Belle-Ile-en-Mer, France. Killed in Action (KIA). Participated in 6 Operations (3 were aborted) See Biography events.
