Lionel Marcus Viggers
MilitaryAircraftman 1st Class, 576807. Royal Air Force. Age 20. Son of Albert Harold and Kate Viggers, of Margate, Kent, England.
He was killed in a plane crash at Palm City, north of Palm Beach and near Stuart, Florida on Monday October 9 1944. He trained at Riddle Field, Clewiston. He was accompanied on his fatal flight by Lt. Stephen Harvey who was not seriously hurt when the plane was forced down in a storm.
