Military ROLL OF HONOURLinnie Arrowood was killed on 23 March 1944 in the crash in the Channel of B-17G #42-31120.
Damaged by fighters on a mission to Brunswick, Germany, the pilot had attempted to return to England but the Fortress crashed into the Channel. All 10 crew members on board are listed as MIA (Missing In Action) as their remains were never recovered. Missing Air Crew Report - MACR 3534.
