Chehalis, WA 27 June 2012 Leonard Clay "Mac" McReynolds Mac was born in Seminole, TX on Sept 1, 1918 and passed away at home in Chehalis, WA on June 27, 2012. After spending his early years in West Texas, he enlisted in the Army and served our country as a B-17 pilot during WWII. He flew 35 missions over mainland Europe out of England, during 1944. He then made his home in Olympia and raised his family in the South Bay area. He retired after a career with the State of Washington. He retired as a Lt. Colonel in the USAF reserves. After retirement, he travelled extensively and he became active with the 95th Bomb Group Association. His last years were spent gardening, fishing and spending time with family in Thurston, Pacific, and Lewis counties. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Helen. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Edith, his seven children, five step-children, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. Services will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, July 7th at the United Methodist Church, 16 South Market Street, Chehalis, Washington.
