Ivan L Schraeder

Military ROLL OF HONOUR

SSgt. U.S. Army Air Corps, World War II-SSgt. Schraeder was killed in action on his 25th mission on 4-20-1945 while flying as an aerial gunner on B-17 44-6374 with the 49th Bomber Squadron of the 2nd Bomber Group, and they went down in the area of Vipteno, Italy.



He was once shot down during a raid over France in 1944, and managed to get home to England with the help of the French underground, and he made his way back through Spain and England.
