Military ROLL OF HONOURKilled in Action (KIA) 26-Feb-43 in B-17F #42-5056 'Devil's Playmate' 305BG/364BS while serving as Pilot. The aircraft was shot down by German fighters and crashed into the North Sea between the Frisian Islands and Helgoland, Germany on a mission to Wilhelmshaven, Germany. Most of the crew were original members of the 305th.
