served a total of 28 years and 4 months in the Air Force. Switched to fighters after WWII. Was in charge of a radar site in Germany during the Berlin Airlift. Flew the p80, F86, F102, and F106 for the Air Defense Command. Was a squadron commander for a Forward Air Control unit in Vietnam stationed out of DaNang. Is now 100 and lives in Layton, Utah (as of July 18, 2018), died 3 Mar 2022
