Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster Awarded

10 September 1944 Awarded a Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster to his DFC for an attack on a German Airfield where he attacked and neutralized a FLAK tower and three machine-gun emplacements. In passes that followed, all visible parked enemy aircraft, approximately 20, were destroyed.
