Frank had a pilot's licence earned while working at a local airport while at High School but trained as a mechanic/ air gunner. Assigned to 358BS, 303BG, 8AF USAAF. Morales crew. 25 x combat missions. ETD.



Awards: DFC, AM (4OLC), WWII Victory, EAME (2 x Battle Stars).



Post War: He received his discharge in August 1945 and then worked for Collins Radio at Cedar Rapids.
