Captain Eugene H. Duquette was a pilot in the 55th Fighter Group / 338th Fighter Squadron.

Flying on P-51D Serial 44-14730 on 15 March 1945, the plane crashed for unknown reasons into Allied territory. Eugene Duquette had bailed out and was flown back to his unit at Wormingford. Eugene served in the 55th FG from 6 January 1945 until the end of the war in Europe, May 1945.
