On 27 February 1945, it was flown by 2nd Lt Albert J. Ramm. Celebrating the end of his tour, Ramm flew rather low over the base at Wormingford and hit a telephone pole, damaging the plane's right wing. He managed to land the plane without further damage.

On 15 March 1945, piloted by 1st Lt Eugene H. Duquette, it crashed due to unknown causes in Allied territory. Duquette had bailed out and was flown back to his unit. There is no known Missing Air Crew Report (MACR) for this incident.
