Attacked by fighters and the pilot injured and several fires on board on mission to Brunswick on 30 Jan 1944, B-17G #42-31415 returned with the fires extinquished but five of the crew had bailed out over Germany. RTD.
Shot down 13 April 1944 in B-17 #42-38112, 'MRS GEEZIL'. Prisoner of War (POW). MACR 3869.
