Military ROLL OF HONOURKilled in Action (KIA) on 26-Feb-43 in B-17F 42-5362 'Short Snorter II' [LL:F] while serving as Bombardier/Togglier. The aircraft was shot down by German fighters just west of the Frisian Islands and crashed into North Sea while on a mission to Wilhelmshaven, Germany.
