Charles Thurman Fleenor
MilitaryCharles T. Fleenor was the Navigator on B-17 #42-31606, Mission #247, 4 March 1944. The ship was low squadron lead and left formation at 1156 HRS right after bombs away going, apparently in good condition and under control, covered by friendly fighters; Damaged by flak the ship crashed about 15 KM Northwest of Amiens, France. MACR 2739. POW.
