Roth, of 6533 Meneriva Avenue, has an army job which suits him down to the ground - or up in the air. In civilian life he was an auto mechanic; now he is dealing with aeroplanes. Charles thinks the British weather is "not so good" (though some of his pals put it more strongly). What he really wants, he sends word to his parents in Broomfield, Colorado, is "a nice steak in Chicago", presumably with his fiancee, Miss Norma Mikes to help him eat it. O.P.S. Charles on the nose of an aeroplane.' Roger Freeman Collection

I have a copy of this picture at home, sent by Charles himself. I flew him and relatives on 06/11/94 above the crash site in France.
