Charles F. Pease was born in Mumford, NY USA in 1914.  He was the youngest boy and second youngest child born to Warren Hathaway Pease and Alta Kate Pease.

After receiving instruction and training on the B17 aircraft in Walla Walla, Washington, and other areas in the western states, dad left with his crew for Great Ashfield where he would be engineer gunner (1st) in “Val’s Valiants".  as far as I know from reading his diary, his first plane was 'The Fighting Cock'.  He was not on the crew when it went down.

I am the daughter of the airman mentioned here.  I was born in 1945 in Bury St. Edmunds. I came to the USA in 1946 with my mom on the ship, The Henry Gibbons.

I  am in possession of all of my father’s memorabilia from his experiences preparing for and being in WWII until June 1945.
