Alfred V Heitman

Military

10-May-42 303BG website Personnel Roster has SGT Heitman assigned as an Assistant Engineer on B-17F #41-24579 [PU-F] "Thumper" 303BG/360BS but apparently he did not stay permanently assigned to that crew, and his arrival at Molesworth cannot be confirmed with "Thumper".

303BG Mission Reports show him as participating in 4 Operations (2 were aborted) with B-17 #41-24579 but as a susbsititute for Waist Gunners. It appears his last operation was on 6-Dec-1942 and none after that. No indication in the records that he was either Killed or Wounded. See Biography events.
