This is a picture of my father Lt. Seymour Deutsch (Navigator) in the top row 2nd from right with the rest of his crew. 493rd Bomber Group/862nd Bomb Squad. They flew all of their 36 missions together. 12 in B-24 "Shoo Shoo Baby" and 24 in B-17 "Day's Pay". The rest of the guys were Alan Cohen, Rudy Krack, Frank McCann, Robert M. Neal, Chester Piergies, Charles Purcell, Edwin Stewart, Arlys Wineinger. (Sorry, can't match the names to the faces).
